- Free nmearouter software from arundel and upload as a station to marine traffic and or to fleetmon ( they will give you a free subsription because you send them data). We are a roaming station for both of them and upload it to anywhere else you want Marine Traffic has good instruction manual
- Run a signalK server and the noforeignland.com plugin. Im running it on my victron cerbo GX. Saillogger.com plugin is great too for keeping travel logs.
- Also MarineTraffic has a second app you can use to report your boat position live. It's called OnCourse
- Yes, app OnCourse on IPad, and the info go to MarineTraffic Free…

Just received our new HP antenna for our Maritime Plan.
Context We live in the US and plan on bringing our Starlink kit with us to France to install on our sailboat this summer.
Questions:
- Do we need to activate our Starlink service in the US before we leave for France? Or can we do the activation from France?
- Since we won't start using our Starlink service until August, is there a way to not start paying until then?
- Our Starlink kit came with 110V plugs since ordered it from the US. Will we be able to buy Starlink cables with 220V plugs since our boat has 220V outlets (we want to avoid using adapters)? I didn't see this power cables for sell at shop.starlink.com.
- Can you source the HP antenna for the Maritime plan in France? Are they in stock at the moment, as I've heard people having issues to get one?
Thank you in advance for your answers.

Hello Holly, Thank you for reaching out to Starlink support about your Maritime subscription. We apologize on our behalf for the late response as we are diligently responding to a high amount of service requests. We attempted to reach you by phone, although it looks as if we've missed you and have left a brief voicemail.
- Your account subscription is Mobile Priority, and you are able to set up your kit and use it at any location as this subscription has global coverage.
- If you do not want to start using your dish until August, we suggest you pause your account, as it appears you successfully have, until you are ready to use your hardware.
- We recommend setting up your dish and letting it update it's software every 3-4 months to ensure the hardware is up to date as this may cause intermittent service, or service issues upon reactivation. To do this, please plug in your dish obstruction free and leave it powered on for 48 hours.
- Unfortunately, we do not have a process where we can order an out of region piece part for your dish, so it may be best to order your Starlink from France if you would like to avoid using an adapter. This may also be helpful for if you need a replacement part, as we can only send replacements within the region your kit is registered to. For example, we would only be able to send a replacement to the US instead of France since your order is registered in the US.
- It may take a couple weeks to receive your Flat High Performance dish if you order it from France, although we do not believe it would take until August to receive this dish.
- If you would like to cancel your service and return your US Flat High Performance kit to order your Starlink in France, please let us know and we would be happy to assist you further and provide the next steps.
We appreciate your patience and your support! Please let us know how you would like to proceed.
