We are Stephane and Holly, and the past few years, we've embarked on a transformational journey, shifting from a land-based existence to living and sailing on a performance catamaran; a new Outremer 52. Our ultimate goal is to complete a nautical circumnavigation while we're still fit and healthy enough to do it safely.

We're originally from the Bay Area in California. However, our destiny has taken us to stunning and powdery Lake Tahoe, where we've become locals with a twist living also on our boat, wherever it is.

In old Breton, AWEN means divine inspiration and was used to describe the 'flowing energy that is the essence of life.' It also refers to the muse who inspires us all towards our destiny and was derived from the word 'breeze.' We believe this is quite fitting!
